Item A abordagem da variação e mudança linguísticas no ensino médio: dos documentos oficiais às perspectivas de professores(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-08-07) Alves, Diogo de Campos; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8615393836970411; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; Paula, Maria Helena de; Arruda, Niguelme CardosoLinguistic heterogeneity is an undeniable reality, being an extremely important assumption for a context of democratic and reflective teaching of the Portuguese language (LP). However, it has questioned its approach in the regular LP teaching, due to the historical space of traditional grammar in the school context. In light of this, this master´s dissertation had the purpose of analyzing and problematizing the space of the linguistic variation and change approach, referred as socio-historical aspects of the language, in the high school of public colleges in Catalão-GO. For this purpose, it was carried out the analyses of three corpora: (i) official teaching documents, namely LDB (BRASIL, 1996), PCNEM (BRASIL, 2000), BNCC (BRASIL, 2017) and the Currículo Referência de Educação do Estado de Goiás (GOIÁS, 2012); (ii) two textbooks collections approved by PNLD (BRASIL, 2018) and used by the participants of this research; and (iii) qualitative questionnaire, with thirteen questions, applied to six public school teachers in the city of Catalão-GO. Supported on the discussions of Educational Sociolinguistics (BORTONI-RICARDO, 2004; 2005) and the pedagogy of linguistic variation (FARACO, 2008), we seek to debate the importance of addressing the socio-historical aspects in the corpora mentioned and the barriers identified in them. The starting point of the analyzes undertaken was the conception of language present in each corpus under analysis, based on the course of linguistic and grammatical studies, according on different theorists, such as Martellota (2015), Soares (2002; 1998), Ilari (2009; 2011), among others. The results show that the linguistic variation approach is more present in the corpora, in relation to the linguistic change, which, in most cases, proved to be inexpressive. Nevertheless, the sociolinguistic processes do not assume a significant dimension, receiving a concise and undistinguished treatment both in official documents, exception to the BNCC and PCN+, in the textbooks and in the perception of participating teachers. As a result, it is deemed necessary to expand and improve the space of socio-historical aspects in the teaching of LP, empowering the professor to deal with the linguistic and social heterogeneity present in the classroom.Item Alocação dinâmica de recursos em redes OFDM multiusuários baseada em banda efetiva(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2013-12-19) Gonçalves, Bruno Henrique Pereira; Vieira, Flávio Henrique Teles; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0920629723928382; Vieira, Flávio Henrique Teles; Cardoso, Kléber Vieira; Lemos, Rodrigo PintoThis paper proposes adaptive resource allocation in multiuser wireless networks based on OFDM. Two allocation schemes are proposed: for TDMA networks and LTE networks. The resource allocation schemes that provide QoS are developed from the union of OFDM wireless networks, the proposal of adaptive modeling of traffic flows and the proposal of adaptive estimation of effective bandwidth. The performances of the proposed schemes are verified through simulation. Concepts and studies on traffic modeling, multifractal traffic modeling, theory of effective bandwidth, OFDM, are addressed in order to support the understanding and development of the proposed schemes. An algorithm for adaptive parameter estimation of the multifractal model bMWM is proposed, and studies to estimate the effective bandwidth are presented. Some methods of estimating effective bandwidth are proposed using traffic flow models.Item Análise discursiva das propostas de emendas constitucionais que versam sobre a redução da maioridade penal(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-08-27) Alencar, Bianca Ayala Melo Di; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9030434824436730; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; Stafuzza, Grenissa Bonvino; Solazzi, José LuizThe present work aimed to study thematic regularities extracted from sections of Constitutional Amendment Proposals number 74, 2011, number 33, 2012, and number 21, 2013, which seek to propose a reduction majority. We intend to describe the thematic regularities, aiming at their statements based on an archaeogeneal approach, developed and discussed by the philosopher Michel Foucault. Considering this, we use part of Foucault ́s "toolbox" for discourse analysis (DA), which includes: the notions of statement, discourse, device, effects of truths, strategies, relations of power, security device and how war got entangled in the discursive plot. The analysis were conducted since the proposals are related to statements such as violence, fear and insecurity. Essentially, the analysis were carried out from a theoretical contribution thought by the philosopher in The Archeology of Knowledge (2008) aiming on problematizing the various discursive strategies used in the course of such bills in order of sanctioning those these amendments. It was the occurrence of enunciate regularities in the PECs, as well as the reappearance of other statements coming from legislations such as the Child and Adolescent Statute and the Penal Code, with significant displacements in their justifications. The study provided an analysis of the strategies used in the relations of power that foment the teaching of a law that proposes the reduction of criminal majority. Violence and fear were spoken and constructed discursively as a strategy to make major changes on the law. The analysis also allowed us to think about the historical discontinuities made possible by the discourses, among them the reappearance of the term “public revenge”. It was analyzed how to allow oppressive voting with the objective of promoting security for the population in response to fear and savoring the society of which it is a part of. As a result, we obtained the understanding that the discursive strategies employed by the Federal Senate, in its various subject positions, whether through regularity or contradiction, allowed the appearance of other PECs with the same regularity in the form of a new event. Therefore, we conclude that the safety devices also function as processes of exclusion logic for young people involved in criminal practices, since the commitment to the implementation of the Child and Adolescent Statute was not mentioned.Item Análise multimodal das aberturas de unidades da coleção High Up: na perspectiva da gramática do design visual(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2018-02-26) Mendonça, Tânia Regina; Almeida, Fabiola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9997730511011881; Almeida, Fabiola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira; Paula, Maria Helena de; Novodvorski, ArielThis research aims to analyze the verbal and non-verbal texts that make up the openings of the units of the High Up English didactic collection. Approved by the National Textbook Plan - PNLD 2015, recommended for high school, organized by the authors Reinildes Dias; Leina Juca and Raquel Faria. For this, the Systemic-Functional Grammar (HALLIDAY, 1994) ; (HALLIDAY and MATTHIESSEN, 2004) is in coherence with the multimodal texts from the perspective of theVisual Design Grammar (KRESS and VAN LEEUWEN, 2000). Based on these authors, it is hoped to find out if the study of the English language in a public school in the city of Pires do Rio - Goiás offers a variety of interpretations through the engravings and gives the students, according to the theme of the unit, reflect and discuss the images and phrases presented on said pages of unit openings. In addition to the multimodal analysis, the verbal that follow the unit openings were analyzed from the METHOD of Interpersonal Metaphor and analysis of the occurrences of the processes by the Ideational Metaphor, through the computer program called WordSmith Tools 7. It is a qualitative and quantitative research (DORNYEI, 2007) that relates theory, context and research questions. For the analysis of the corpus that composes this study, the data were selected, in consonance with the theoretical contribution of Visual Design Linguistic and Systemic- Functional Linguistic.Item O Apóstolo João e os irmãos Grimm: um diálogo judaico-cristão ou uma abordagem antissemita?(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-06-29) Almeida, Guilherme Weber Gomes de; Silva, Alexander Meireles da; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-2742-2209; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8325920517508979; Silva, Alexander Meireles da; Carneiro, Fabianna Simão Belllizzi; Volobuef, Karin; Perim, Regina Silva Michelli; Pereira, Kênia Maria de AlmeidaThe Brothers Grimm conducted a research on German culture with a focus on folk narratives from the oral tradition that resulted in the publication of books, articles, and dictionaries that impacted language and literature studies in several countries. The Grimm's work was not restricted to German-speaking countries. The collected narratives were organized and published in two separate works that bring together stories defined by them as Märchen and legends. According to the Brothers Grimm, the Märchen refer to a series of folk stories (with no connection to the real and rational world) that were scattered among the population and were passed on by oral tradition from generation to generation to transmit knowledge, religious dogmas, values, ideologies, beliefs or philosophical principles. The legends shared the same characteristics as the Märchen, but presented some verisimilar element such as date or location, for example. The collection of Märchen was called Kinder-und Hausmärchen and that of legends was called Deutsche Sagen. The Brothers Grimm’s narratives, although not of their original authorship, have a strong Christian symbolism. The following thesis analyzes how the Brothers Grimm’s stories dialogue with the Gospel of John, since the evangelist is pointed out by Murphy (2000) as one of the greatest influences of Wilhelm Grimm, the main responsible for writing and revising the collected narratives. Starting from the fact that Kinder-und Hausmärchen was one of the works that had free circulation in Nazi Germany and that a Nazified copy of the Gospel of John was distributed on German territory by the Nazi Party in the 1930s, this work analyzes some legends and Märchen identifying the symbology of Christian theology, antisemitic interpretations and also presents the genealogies of the stories studied. The theoretical foundation is supported by the main researchers in the area as Karin Volobuef (2007; 2011; 2014), Jack Zipes (1999; 2002; 2006; 2014); Maria Tatar (1987; 2004); D. L. Ashliman (1987); Heide Anne Heiner (2010); F. F. Bruce (1987), among others.Item Arquegenealogia bajubeira: uma análise de práticas de poder e resistência(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-04-01) Camarano, Pedro Anácio; Franceschini, Bruno; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6500891852311652; Franceschini, Bruno; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; Araújo, Cristina Batista deSubmerged within the Discourse Analysis (AD) of French line, this dissertation, whose research uses qualitative and theoretical-descriptive-analytical methodology, deals with the understanding of bajubá as resistance to the heterocisnormative device from the works of Michel Foucault. Based on the questioning of the philosopher “who are we today?”, In The subject and the power (1995), this study concerns the contemporary subject, more precisely the bajubeiro subject. Considering Foucault's commitment to attesting that the exercise of power is not dissociated from the practices of resistance, this work aims to demonstrate this functioning from the counter-conduct of some Education professionals. It is also a question of certifying this same functioning through escape practices, seeking to understand how the subjects are subjectified in order to perform paradigmatic identities and how the bajubeiro subject, considered abject within this system, resists through the bajubá. Therefore, this production analyzes the power games referring to the expressions and roles of sex / gender in the current Brazilian society, having as a corpus a great discursive event, the proof of the ENEM 2018, in which a question about the bajubá discursive object emerges, enabling the establishment of an associated field, functioning as a possibility condition so that this question could appear in the exam. For that, in an archegenealogical and cartographic endeavor, a theoretical-methodological instrument of Discourse Analysis is used to think about the processes of subjectification related to sexuality issues as a result of a socio-historical discursive construction. The results obtained point out that resistance to heterocysnormativity occurs through permanent confrontations, and not through the search for absolute freedom, since, in Foucault's perspective, this is not possible to accomplish. As the bajubá is a powerful technique of subjectivation, this confrontation takes place by combating essentialist gender thinking and heterocysnormativity, either through counter-conducts or through a “self-care” technique; that is, the bajubeiro subject performs subversive identities, experimenting with other modes of conduct, in a work of himself on himself, in a process of fighting against subjectivities developed from the conception that physiological factors determine sexuality in all its dimensions.Item Arquitetura de ruínas: delírio e devaneio na construção do espaço trágico em lavoura arcaica(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-01-21) Gonçalves, Fábio Tibúrcio; Cavalcante, Maria Imaculada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9759913282292402; Cavalcante, Maria Imaculada; Borges, Luciana; Santos, Regma Maria dosThis work lends itself to joint analysis of two corpora: the novel “Lavoura Arcaica” writer Raduan Nassar, and his eponymous film, produced by Director Luiz Fernando Carvalho. The analysis of the book it is guided in the study of space, according to the postulates of the “Poetics of space”, the philosopher and theorist of imagination Gaston Bachelard, with emphasis on the concepts of topophilia and topophobia and of his work. Still based in phenomenology bachelardian, now under the foundations of the “Poetics of Reverie”, emphasis will be given to the Word as one of the veins of the narrative, conductors the book reveals the tone of poetic speech, as the hits of reverie or loathing of the protagonist. Under another view, memory and identity, join the rave and daydream for together, appear as constituent elements of the stream of consciousness that pervades the whole plot. With regard to the analysis of the film Lavoura Arcaica, cinematic space emerges as filmic diegetic element to be analyzed under the focus of the studies undertaken by narratologics André Gaudreault and François Jost. The aim is to understanding how film sensitive construction occurs in the cinematic image. Synesthesia and influences of the Expressionist movement are portrayed as structural elements and stylistic in some scenes. The space as emotional and memory synesthetic reconstruction, justifying distortions, unfocused and deletions of/on the image to transmit all existential crisis experienced by the protagonist of the story, tragic narrative that make both the novel and the film true masterpieces national literature and Cinema.Item Aspectos que delineiam a identidade docente de oito professores de inglês: um estudo com base no sistema de avaliatividade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-12-08) Sousa, Hilda Braz Silva; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9997730511011881; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira de; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; Silva, Edna Cristina Muniz da; Dias, Anair Valênia Martins; Vian Júnior, OrlandoThe main theme of this research is the teaching identity. It is a study that seeks to understand the identity aspects of eight English teachers of the public education of the state of Goiás in Goiânia. It has as theoretical support the cultural theories of identity with the Systemic-Functional Linguistics discourse analysis of, consolidated with the Appraisal System, specifically, its sub-system of Attitude. It is important to note that Systemic-Functional Linguistics considers that it is not possible to do discourse analysis without considering the context of culture and context of situation. These contexts were essential for understanding teachers' identities. Thus in the analysis both theories were used. The Arguments that justify a choice for the profession and evaluations about teacher’s performance in classroom composed the textual corpora, which were generated through semi-structured and transcribed interviews. The discourse analysis of each teacher's speech was based on these interviews. The analysis effort was carried out to search, identify and understand significative aspects, constitutive of the identities of the teachers when uttering their speeches about a choice of the profession and their teaching activities. After the discourse analysis of each participant, it was verified that it had in common in order to understand if the researched teachers shared some identity aspect among the shared ones, it was verified that they evaluate themselves to teach, but that this process is not materialized by factors that are beyond their controls, leaving them uncomfortable with the students' non-learning. From this incongruity between being prepared to teach and not achieved, signing, the participants' identities were interpreted. The result showed that the identity aspects of these teachers are in accordance with the current configuration of society, that is, it is an off-center, fragmented, contradictory identity.Item Autoria, devir e interdição: os “Entre-lugares” do sujeito no romance Úrsula(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2015-05-25) Rio, Ana Carla Carneiro; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9030434824436730; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; Borges, Luciana; Gama-Kahlil, Marisa MartinsThis research aims to identify the "between-spots" of the subject from the title “Ursula” by Maria Firmina dos Reis, a romance from nineteenth century in Maranhão, located in the romantic temporality. This book, published in 1859, in the province of São Luis, Maranhão’s capital, has as a main theme some aspects of slavery and the inferiority conditions faced by women in colonial Maranhão in nineteenth-century society and the unprecedented presence of women as writers in the above-mentioned context. This scenario gives us the dimension of the analysis from some discursive formations of the characters and the knowledge about the author’s positions, identified by the pseudonym "Uma Maranhense" which constitutes the main subject of this dissertation. For the matter of the development of this research, we opted for the theoretical postulates of Discourse’s analysis (DA) by the French line of work, which seeks to stablish a closer dialogue with Michel Foucault, from where we will discuss details of the relation between history and literature by Foucault, in order to see how these concepts can be integrated into the DA’s field. Throughout the work, we heed to Foucault's concepts of author, history, subject and power. Added to the Foucault’s postulates, the concept of "become", designed by Gilles Deleuze, who had helped us to understand the romance as a "between-spot", which indicates both the membership of the author to literary discursive practices of the century XIX and the breakdown of some established models. Primarily, this research deals with the DA’s disciplinary fields , embraces the context of Maranhão’s nineteenth-century society related to literature and customs of society and discusses the theories that will support the analysis. Finally, it develop some analysis about novel’s sequence enunciations, which deals with the issue of female authors writing in the nineteenth century and the subaltern condition of women and blacks in Maranhão’s society. In this sense, the analysis, from the "between-spots" inside the novel’s speech , we analyze the movement that indicates a dialogue between the authorial project mentioned in the prologue with the characters and narrator’s words, from the discursive formations around the slavery, female submission and patriarchy. With the Foucault’s help, we understand that discourses are always related to society and history; For this reason, the analysis of the discursive events in “Ursula” led us to question why this work would be out of the canon and understand how the discursive practices of the nineteenth century tried to ban works by female authors and abolitionist themes.Item Avaliatividade em discursos de surdos no ensino médio: uma análise sistêmico-funcional(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-02-27) Santos, Lucas Eduardo Marques; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9997730511011881; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira; Bengezen, Viviane Cabral; Vian Junior, OrlandoThis research is directed from Applied Linguistics (AL), from Systemic-Functional Grammar (SFG) – in relation to the lexical-grammar, of the Systemic-Functional Linguistics (SFL) and a semiotic and holistic view of the language, elaborated by Halliday (1994) – from the semantic- discursive system of Appraisal discussed by Martin and White (2005) and theoretical assumptions that address the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras), as well as issues associated with deaf culture (STROBEL, 2007, 2008 and 2009), deaf identities (Perlin, 1998, 2003, 2005 and 2016) and Canclini (2011), which allow the validation of investigations that unfold in the communicative process of the Deaf students in the school environment through the use of a visuospatial language, more specifically, their evaluations. In this sense, this research proposes as a general objective to investigate how and what evaluations are expressed by the deaf who share academic experiences under the perspective of the inclusive perspective. Already as specific objectives it aims to broaden the application of the studies in SFL and to categorize these discourses through the system of Appraisal and more specifically of the Attitude subsystem. Thus, this research is based on a quanti- qualitative perspective (DÖRNYEI, 2007), since, in terms of data collection, the numerical data of the occurrences of the most evaluative lexical-grammatical elements serve as a framework for the qualitative analysis of the corpus are organized and carried out. For the purposes of sampling, this research initially counts on the participation of five Deaf students ("S") enrolled in the 3rd year of high school in public education institutions located in the metropolitan region of Goiania, the capital of the state of Goiás and which are respectively named S1, S2, S3 and S4.The data collection is done from the filming based on the elaboration and application of a semi-structured script. These data are transcribed (McCLEARY; VIOTTI; LEITE, 2010) and translated into semantic and communicative (UDAYA RAVI, 1997; NEWMARK, 1988) for the Portuguese Language. Applied to this analysis are the computer tools Elan 5.2 and WordSmith Tools Scott 7.0, with the aim of selecting the data, from the quantitative perspective of this research, which is guided by the system of Appraisal. Regarding the qualitative analyzes, it is possible to observe that the speeches of the Deaf interviewees evaluate their insertion in the educational environment by four macro categories, they are: a) Affection: emotional self-assessments, b) Self-judgment: social experiences of self-perception, c) Appreciation: evaluations of things and phenomena, and d) Third-party evaluations. Through the results obtained and the combination of the theoretical- methodological frameworks organized, it is evident from this investigation that the Deaf live in a complex and borderline school situation, based on the linguistic, cultural and identity barriers that promote the failure of these students to the present inclusive educational system. This research, therefore, will contribute to the greater reflective development on the area of education of the Deaf, its methods and even on the pedagogical and instructional quality offered to these people who share a visuospatial language, in this case, Libras.Item #Brumadinho, a tragédia: uma análise de avaliatividade segundo o subsistema de atitude(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2021-02-25) Prefeito, Fernanda Gurgel; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra Parreira; https://orcid.org/0000-0002-6122-4038; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9997730511011881; Novodvorski, Ariel; Gonçalves, Sheila de Carvalho Pereira; Almeida, Fabíola Aparecida Sartin Dutra ParreiraThis research is part of the Postgraduate Program in Language Studies (PPGEL), of the Federal University of Goiás - Regional Catalão (UFG) / Federal University of Catalão (UFCAT). It aims to investigate, by way of lexical-grammatical elements, through the Attitude subsystem within the Evaluative System (HALLIDAY and MARTIN, 2005), how users of the social network Twitter position themselves and express their opinions on the 1st anniversary of the rupture of the dam of Córrego do Feijão mine in Brumadinho - MG. Thus, analyzing the Attitude subsystem in the investigated tweets, this work aims to contribute to the studies in Applied Linguistics, as well as in the Systemic-Functional Linguistics presented by Halliday (1994), which starts from the argument that language is a system of choices and that, by these choices, the interaction of individuals is possible. This theory is divided into three metafunctions of language, namely: ideational, textual, and interpersonal, which are understood and describe the linguistic components of a sentence. In addition to the theory used for this investigation, the computer program WordSmith Tools 7.0 was used to identify and contextualize the lexical-grammatical elements of Attitude present in the corpus. The Assessment System enabled the recognition of the types of Attitude (affection, judgment, and appreciation) about the tragedy that occurred in Brumadinho - MG, in which the participants demonstrate feelings, judgments, and values when mentioning what happened in their timeline. Therefore, in qualitative analysis, it is possible to note that users' tweets evaluate the event by three macro-categories: a) Brumadinho and Vale and their directors; b) Brumadinho and the victims and c) Brumadinho: tragedy or crime? Through the results achieved and the theoretical-methodological references, this study understands the occurrence of negative polarity in the analyzed tweets, in which users expressed their opinions. Most of the type of impact reaction was found through the Evaluation System compared to the other subtypes. Item (Con)figurações do feminino na ficção de Augusta Faro: corpo, erotismo e sexualidade(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-03-23) Menegassi, Nívea de Souza Moreira; Borges, Luciana; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4790470Z6; Borges, Luciana; Silva, Alexander Meireles da; David, Nismária AlvesThis research evidences the representation of the woman, focusing on the themes of body, eroticism and female sexuality in the short stories: "A Gaiola", "A Ceia de Aninha" and "As Sereias" in the book A Friagem (1998) and the short stories “O Homem de Ouro Puro”,"Os pecados de Rosário "and "Gertrudes e seu Homem ", in the book “Boca Benta de Paixão (2007), by Augusta Faro Fleury de Melo, known as Augusta Faro. Considering the outline of the protagonists, it was intended to unveil how fictional women react to the oppression arising from the stigma of tradition imposed by patriarchal society. It was also intended to examine the core of this universe, seeking to understand, through questioning, the attitudes of the characters in relation to their bodies, their sexuality and eroticism. Because it is a theoretical, descriptive and analytical study, the methodology used was the literature review. To enrich this work, an interview with the author mentioned above was carried out. This work initially presents a brief contextualization of the feminist movement in Brazil and in the state of Goiás in order to, through this view, approach the feminine authorship and the intercrossing with the Gender Studies. Next, it deals specifically with the female body and the symbolic violence, which sometimes, in an aggressive and imperceptible way, imprints scars on the body and soul of these women, and finally reflects on how eroticism and female sexuality are discussed and investigated in the fiction of the mentioned author. To carry out this work, some theorical authors were consulted as Ria Lemaire (1994), Judith Butler (2003), Constância Lima Duarte 1994), besides of Michel Foucault (2015), Elisabeth Grosz (2000), Elodia Xavier (2007), Octavio Paz (2007) and Georges Bataille (1987), among others. In the conclusion of what was analyzed, it was found that women writers still find obstacles to publicize their works efficiently and that the female representation, from the perspective of a woman, it is one of the starting point necessary to provoke the profound cultural change that society needs in order to have, among people, a coexistence constituted in mutual respect and stripped of any prejudices. In the short stories, the protagonists can be grouped into two categories according to the criteria submission / transgression. There are those that are able to impose themselves before the other, namely the masculine and the patriarchal society, and those that bow before the sexist rules, losing physical and mental health. Item A constituição do personagem privilegiado pelo meio jurídico em contos de Machado de Assis(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-08-06) Stacciarini, Letícia Santana; Cavalcante, Maria Imaculada; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9759913282292402; Cavalcante, Maria Imaculada; Borges, Valdeci Rezende; Pereira, Kênia Maria de AlmeidaIn dealing with the reading of the Machadian short stories, some recurring features do not cease to be noticed. Among of a series of contexts that are worth mentioning, we notice, for example, that the author chooses scenarios with the presence of characters usually privileged by the legal environment or that, at least, are graduates. In this sense, the reader of Machado de Assis is naturally exposed to plural themes and knowledge that involve Law. On account of all this, in order to perform a research on the construction of this character in certain literary creations of the writer, three short stories were selected: "Virginius (narrative de um advogado)", "Ex Cathedra" and "Suje-se Gordo!". Some of these narratives even address the way the labors were solved at the time when they were published. Not only that, but they also present legal situations with the involvement of graduates or, frequently, even of lawyers already established. There are several angles in which he appears: sometimes as the main character, acting as the narrator of the plot. By the exposed, as the main goal, this paper proposes an analysis from the point of view of the character privileged by the legal environment on the three short stories chosen from the referred author. The main methodological approach for this study is the theoretical research, based on a bibliographical reference. Under this assumption, we perform an overview on the theoretical framework, in special when regarding the narrative texts selected for analysis. Concerning the main researchers for research and grounding, it is worth to stand out Gustavo Tadeu Alkmim (2008) and Roberto Schwarz (1988) concerning the plurality of the themes found in the Machadian plots; Antonio Candido (1977), Alfredo Bosi (2002), Leonardo Affonso Pereira (1968), Miguel Matos and Cassio Schubsky (2008) on the biography and different activities to which the author was dedicated; Sergio Buarque de Holanda (1936), Alfredo Bosi (2007), °At-is Borges Filho (2007), Marisa Gama-Khalil (2008) and Valdeci Rezende Borges (2000 and 2007) to talk about the city of Rio de Janeiro at the time of Machado and as an observational material for his writings; Nadia Battella Gotlib (1985) and John Gledson (2005) about the chronicler face of the author; Jose Wanderley Kozima (1996), besides Miguel Matos and Cassio Schubsky (2008) once again, to mention the presence of the legal world also in Machado's life; Gustavo Tadeu Alkmim (2008) one more time and Luiz Carlso Cancellier de Olivo (2007) regarding the Mark Law in the literary production of "Bruxo do Cosme Velho"; Roberto Schwarz (1990), Gilberto Freyre (2006), Beth Brait (1985), Oswald Ducrot and Tzvetan Todorov (1972), Massaud Moises (1992) and Aristotle (s/d) with respect to the character and also the construction of the Machadian interpreters; Antonio Candido (2011), Ligia Chiappini Leite (1985) and Therezinha Mucci Xavier (1986) for the analysis of the short story "Virginius (narrativa de urn advogado)"; Antonio Dimas (1985) and Rodrigo de Avelar Breunig (2006) in regard to the understanding of "Ex Cathedra"; Ana Helena Armange (2014) and once more the authors Nadia Battella Gotlib (1985) and Marisa Gama-Khalil (2008) for the work with the narrative "Suje-se Gordo!", among a series of other authors studied, classic and contemporary.Item A constituição do sujeito bandido Juliano Vp em Abusado: o dono do morro Dona Marta, de Caco Barcellos(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-09-17) Silva, Martha Tereza Santos; Assunção, Karina Luiza de Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6808258760575078; Assunção, Karina Luiza de Freitas; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; França, Thyago MadeiraBy considering the countless possibilities of researches and approaches in the area of Language Studies, we use as theoretical support the French Discourse Analysis, more specifically in the Michel Foucault’s theoretical contributions, who was not a discourse analyst but presents discussions about power, subject and truth, that will be fundamental to analyze the constitution of the thug subject in the journalist Caco Barcellos’ report book, Abusado: o dono do Morro Dona Marta (2004). Abusado (BARCELLOS, 2004) tells the Juliano’s history VP, codenamed by Rio's drug dealer Márcio Amaro de Oliveira, Marcinho VP, who for a few years continued to lead drug trafficking at Dona Marta Hill in Rio de Janeiro. In addition to the modus operandi of Juliano's gang, the author describes in detail his object, as a (social) body, detainee, slum, chief and the other discursive spaces that integrate it. We aim to analyze the constitution of the subjectivity of the discursive subject Juliano VP, and to further understand how power relations are instituted in the book and corroborate their constitution as a subject. Juliano VP's position evades the bandit discursive subject patterns, in this sense, our corpus represents a discontinuity of the existing discourses about the criminal subject, breaking with the historically instituted common sense discourse. This is a paper in which we propose an archaeogenealogical analysis, based on the various statements that intersect and explain a regularity in its operation. In our analysis, we could observe, among other aspects, that the constitution of subject positions in these statements occurs not only from a social memory motivated by the construction of truths, but also by power devices that subjectify and qualify the subjects in the book. In addition, we observe the deconstruction of meanings already appropriate to the bad guys, and explain others that emerge in his speech.Item A constituição identitária do sujeito dialógico na trilogia divergente de Veronica Roth(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2020-08-31) Ferreira, Cairo Joseph dos Santos; Stafuzza, Grenissa Bonvino; http://lattes.cnpq.br/0086982782870395; Stafuzza, Grenissa Bonvino; Vieira, Evelyn Cristine; Américo, Ekaterina VolkovaThe present study aims to reflect on the identity construction of the dialogical subject Beatrice Prior, known as Tris, in the series Divergente, by Veronica Roth. Thus, in keeping with the proposed theme and purpose, the corpus consists of utterances chosen from the novels: Divergent – one choice can transform you (2012); Insurgent – one choice can destroy you (2013); and, Allegiant - one choice will define you (2014). The research is motivated in three areas: the academic, due to the fact that it examines the dialogicity of the utterance in the functioning of the novelistic language; the philosophical, for understanding that the sphere of the philosophy of language, in particular, guarantees a better and greater understanding as to the constitutive function of the word, of the language and of the speech in the multiple forms of discourse, here, the novel; and, the social, directed to Brazilian Basic Education, for favoring the engagement of children and adolescents in the universe of reading literary works, as well as in the construction of critical, reflective and autonomous readers about their own formation as a social subject. The study is also theoretically based on the theoretical conceptions of Bakhtin and the Circle, especially in the works: Marxism and philosophy of language: fundamental problems of the sociological method in the science of language (2017), by Volóchinov; Theory of the novel I: the stylistic (2015), by Bakhtin; Notes on literature, culture and humanities (2017a), by Bakhtin; The genres of discourse (2016), by Bakhtin; Utterance structure (s/a), by Voloshinov; Freudism: a critical sketch (2017b), by Bakhtin; Towards a philosophy of responsible action (2017c), by Bakhtin; among others. The research presents methodologically on the tripod of description-analysis-interpretation of utterances, through collation, and has a dialectical-dialogical approach, because from a socioideological perspective, it relates the utterance with the socio-cultural experience, the architectural foundation of a project to say subjects, set in peculiar chronotopes, mainly constituted by dialogical relations. In this sense, this study hypothesizes that the identity of Beatrice (Tris) is socially formed by the discursive interaction with the other characters, because it is a dialogic subject constructed in and by the language of the novels.Item “Convoque seu Buda”: práticas de resistência e relações de poder nas letras de música de Criolo(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2019-03-12) Lima, Jheny Iordany Felipe de; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; http://lattes.cnpq.br/9030434824436730; Fernandes Júnior, Antônio; Franceschini, Bruno; Duarte, Karinne RegesThis research aims to think, from the resistance practices materialized in the song lyrics of Criolo, how the power relationships are given and how they affect the subjects, objectifying and constituting them. Criolo is a contemporary artist and remains committed to his musical aesthetic project, being the voice of marginalized, giving visibility to issues silenced by governments and institutions, breaking the system's chains, transgressing the institutionalized discourse about progress, about the myth of racial democracy, about meritocracy and others. These aspects make possible the analytic of the discourses materialized in their letters, by the bias of the analysis of the French discourse of Foucauldian approach, starting from the resistances as the focus of analysis. For, as Foucault (1995) elucidates, through the resistances it is possible to identify where the power relationships are located. This study is justified mainly by the contribution to the studies of language in order to evidence how certain devices of power operate on a particular social body and what possibilities of resistance arise from these power-knowledge relations. It is also justified by the possibility of reflecting on how the transgressive language of rap can be understood as a discursive effect linked to the practices of resistance since rap transgresses the institutionalized discourses, breaks with the regimes of truth, focusing on order of discourses in force in given historical rationality. By adopting the arque-genealogy of Foucauldian discourses, this research was able to think of the transgressive language of rap, practices of resistance to institutionalized powers and their regimes of truth, since rap can break with discursive practices that individualize, exclude and even mortify the subjects in the urban space. The rap can be a voice and give voice to the marginalized, to the subjects left on the sidelines, like the blacks, the poor, street citizens.Item Corpos grotescos e fantásticos: a representação feminina nos contos de Angela Carter e Augusta Faro(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-08-28) Batista, Camila Aparecida Virgílio; Silva, Alexander Meireles da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8325920517508979; Silva, Alexander Meireles da; Borges, Luciana; Rapucci, Cleide AntoniaThis objective work analyzes the construction of the grotesque under the female characters by the bias of the fantastic in the short stories “The Tiger's Bride”, “The Snow Child” and “The Werewolf” from the book The Bloody Chamber (1979) and the short stories “As flores”, “As sereias” and “A gaivota”, by A Friagem (1999) by the writer Augusta Faro. The grotesque revealed itself as an agent for the female characters to enter into a metamorphic process not only on a physical level, but also in the re-signification of language itself, becoming the means for them to question and transgress repressive marks and rules that have long been institutionalized. To reinforce in the analysis we pointed out some aspects: Metamorphosis / The Wild Side, Body Transgressor / Sexuality and Language. We observe how these elements characterized in the grotesque character of the personages and jointly in the communication between the narratives of Angela Carter and Augusta Faro. In order to look at this woman and grotesque relationship, and consecutively at the points of contact that approach the narratives of both writers, the nature of this study is adequate for the theoretical, descriptive, analytical and comparative revision.Item Os cursos d’água de Pires do Rio: análise das motivações toponímicas(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-01-20) Silva, Cleber Cezar da; Siqueira, Kênia Mara de Freitas; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7858452230360917; Siqueira, Kênia Mara de Freitas; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; Andrade, Karylleila dos SantosThis research focuses on the toponymic studies and aims to describe and analyze the origin of the names, morphological and semantic of designatory toponyms of the hydrography of Pires do Rio-GO city, to identify the relations between these designative places and their respective contextual factors which may, by chance, contain indications of toponymic motivation. The research of the toponyms was done by means of official documents, maps of the Brazilian Institute of Geography and Statistics (IBGE) and Mauro Borges Institute (IBM) on a scale of 1: 100,000 and topographic maps. The research is documentary based, in a qualitative and quantitative approach, the research method is the onomasiological method combined with other methods, which consists of the study of designations with the purpose of studying the various names attributed to a concept. The analysis of this research’s corpus took place after the survey of the 46 toponyms of the watercourses, from which 15 are analyzed in this study. In this sense, it is assumed that the toponymic sign is motivated, once extralinguistic factors influence the nominator in the act of naming, in the perspective that the language outlines reality in its own way (Sapir-Whorf), and the language itself is a depository of culture, thus, toponyms reveal socio-historical-cultural factors of the place that names it. The history and geography of Pires do Rio-GO city was the basis for the analyzes, which on the onomasiological bases show that the place and its physical and social characteristics influence the nominator in the moment of the toponym baptism. To perceive naming and nominator relationships are factors that are revealed through the taxonomic classifications, noticing at the same time that the origin of the names and their morphological structure reveals the contextual factors that are impregnated in the toponymy of the language / culture / environment, aspects from the point of view of who appointed it.
