Perspectivas e desafios: Plano de Carreira Docente da cidade de Três Ranchos (GO) 2001-2022

Abstract

The aim of this research is to delve into the teacher career policies in Três Ranchos, Goiás. These teaching policies are aimed at setting guidelines for teachers' career progression, encompassing aspects such as continued education, compensation, workload, and working conditions. Employing a qualitative exploratory theoretical--methodological approach, this study is grounded in an extensive bibliographical survey to comprehend and analyze career plan aspects within the concerned municipality. The focus lies in appreciating teachers regarding their career and compensation. To achieve this goal, the investigation has integrated a thorough documentary research in governmental bodies responsible for education, such as the Ministry of Education and State and Municipal Education Secretariats. This phase aimed to identify laws, norms, regulations, and other official documents governing teacher career regulations in the region. Furthermore, the research seeks to understand the process of promoting and valuing teachers within schools, recognizing their significance in improving working conditions and fostering policies that encourage teacher training and qualification. Within the context of Brazilian educational policies, teacher career plan policies play a crucial role in striving for education quality and appreciating professionals at the forefront of the educational process. Nevertheless, it's important to acknowledge the challenges and gaps still existing in this field, particularly concerning guaranteeing decent working conditions and promoting an attractive and stimulating career for teachers. In summary, understanding the school's career plan is deemed essential for strategic career planning and management, contributing to educational progress and acknowledging teachers' work.
