Abstract
Psychology, as an area of training and profession, was regulated by Law no 4,119, of August 27, 1962. This area is, in general, based on three main pillars: performance, research and teaching, and The present work is dedicated to discussing such pillars in an integral way, since they are condensed in the moments of curricular internships. Internships must promote the consolidation of theoretical concepts developed in the classroom and must be supervised. Consequently, internships prepare – or should prepare – the graduates for the job market, especially in view of the advances and new spaces that psychology has conquered. Thus, it is worth asking whether the strategies adopted by the directors of the Services of Applied Psychology - SPA - existing in the state of Goiás aim to prepare future professionals for the job market. In this sense, this research has as main objective to identify the organizational strategies and the management model adopted by the directors of the SPA's of Psychology courses in the state of Goiás. For this, two studies were carried out: the first, an Integrative Review study for the systematization of the knowledge produced in the literature about the mentioned theme; in the second, the method of document analysis was used to know the current situation of psychology courses in Higher Education Institutions - IES - in Goiás in view of the training of trainees. As a result, it was possible to verify, based on the first study, that the discussions are directed to problematizations about the practices developed and the guidelines and course plans, suggesting that both should be revised in order to guarantee a more complete and more complete course experience. significant role in the professional life of graduates. In the second study, it was observed the absence of some information considered important for the way of managing the internships to be understood in a global way, pointing to a possible difficulty in managing the activities developed in the internships. There was no diversity of emphases offered among the universities, which limits the student's power of choice and, consequently, the possibilities in the labor market, leaving the elaboration of future studies that instigate new discussions.
