Resumo
The present research work is about a study and production of an educational product linked to Research Line 2 - History, Society and Educational Practices of the Federal University of Goiás/UFCAT (in transition) to assist and guide the teachers of the initial grades of Elementary School in activities with the contents of ethnic-racial relations. The objective is to provide an incorporation of different knowledge in the classroom, valuing the multiple, or plural, contributing to the denaturalization of racist practices in the school environment. According to studies on the subject, it is clear that nineteenth century racist and eugenic theories made the debate and problematization of this subject unfeasible and advocated the discourse of racial democracy, which had already circulated on Brazilian soil, since the first years of enslavement in Brazil. The theoretical-methodological framework mobilized for the production of the educational product focuses on the contributions of decolonial thinking in the debate on race, coloniality of power, being, gender and saber, in addition to the modernity category. The contribution of decolonial thinking is fundamental for the rupture of hegemonic, binary and linear thoughts. The material is organized into seven learning modules that, despite being articulated among themselves, can be worked independently, according to the grade and as a need in the classroom. The modules are organized into 36 class-workshops, with step-by-step descriptions with an initial conversation directed to the teachers about the important concepts to be discussed, in addition to guidelines, tips and suggestions for activities. These workshops limit content, class duration, thematic unit, knowledge objective, skills (survey carried out according to the Common National Curriculum Base - BNCC), analysis category, methodology, product, resources, evaluation, and in some increased workshops added highlights , trivia, legal information and suggestions for readings, literature, music and movies. The educational product passed through the scrutiny of the evaluation of triple teachers from the initial grades for quality and applicability analysis. And given the concern of the evaluators, the initial target audience established was changed. Overall, the was positive, reinforcing the need for educational material focused on the theme.
