Abstract
This research consists of an interpretative analysis, of the participatory research type, developed under a qualitative and quantitative approach, considering the use of the blog as a collaborative tool in History classes. The objective is to enhance learning from Digital Information and Communication Technologies (TDICs), in the Youth and Adult Education (EJA) modality. In this study, we briefly discuss the history of the EJA modality and public policies aimed at this audience in Brazil; the importance of TDICs in contemporary times and their role within the classroom; the blog as an enabler of interaction, dialogue and a feeling of belonging, due to its dynamic nature; the teaching of History at EJA based on the workshop class methodology; and, finally, the conceptions of the use of the blog, based on the conversations made with the teacher-researcher and the CEJA students Prof. Alzira de Souza Campos de Catalão, Goiás. We start from the hypothesis that the use of technological resources, how the blog, with educational purposes, can extend knowledge beyond the physical space of the classroom, thus creating a dialogical and interactive environment inside and outside it. Based on the data collected through comments published by those involved in the learning process, we seek to understand the object of study as a collaborative environment for teaching History and building knowledge. The most immediate temporal results point to the existence of several potentialities that make the blog a favorable space for the teaching and learning process, despite the adversities and setbacks encountered during the implementation of the workshops. However, it is possible for teachers and students to acquire the knowledge necessary to develop skills required in the contemporary sociocultural context.
