| dc.description.abstract | Health professionals are a group of employees most affected as to their health and safety related to the organization and the characteristics of their work activity. Based on this principle, the present study had as objective to know the theoretical production on health and safety of the worker and the working conditions in the hospital environment; and identify the perception of the workers of a hospital in the southeast of Goiás on the culture of health and safety at work. An integrative review was performed to meet the first objective of the research. With the objective of answering the guiding question "The working conditions of hospital employees interfere in the perception of their health and safety?", of the 530 works (articles, theses and others) were selected 12 articles. For the second objective, an observational, quantitative, cross-sectional and descriptive study was performed in a medium-sized hospital in the southeast of Goiás. The Organizational Climate and Security Instrument was used to collect the data. The collection occurred in the first half of 2016. The results showed, for the first stage, that the working conditions are responsible for the wear and tear of the professionals. The reality found in studies on the precarious work condition, has negative repercussions for the health and safety of the worker, providing physical and mental illnesses. Allowing the worker and health institutions to identify problems and propose changes in the work process, thus influencing health promotion and disease prevention. Concerning the view of the workers, the results pointed to dialectical perceptions, some studies have found that unfavorable working conditions often become routines and are not perceived by workers, including managers. And others have found that workers perceive these conditions with regard to the consequences on their health. In the results of the second stage of the research, 118 employees participated, with an average of 2.93 years of bond with de hospital. Predominantly of the feminine gender and with average age of 35 years. An overall mean of 2.92 hours of safety training was identified. Regarding the dimensions of ICOS, the nursing team presented a satisfactory score in the items Climate of Safety, Security as Organizational Value and Personal Involvement with Security, while in those same dimensions, the support team was characterized as indifferent. In the dimension of Organizational Practices, the Nursing Team remained indifferent while the Support Team was dissatisfied. In this way, a difference of involvement between the teams in the perception of the culture of health and safety at work was evidenced. | eng |
| dc.description.resumo | Os profissionais de saúde são um grupo de colaboradores muito afetado quanto a sua saúde e segurança pelos aspectos relacionados com a organização e as características da sua atividade trabalhista. Partindo desse princípio, o presente estudo teve por objetivos conhecer a produção teórica sobre saúde e segurança do trabalhador e condições de trabalho no ambiente hospitalar; e identificar a percepção de trabalhadores de um hospital no sudeste goiano, acerca da cultura de saúde e segurança do trabalho. Foi realizada uma revisão integrativa a fim de atender o primeiro objetivo da pesquisa. Com a finalidade de responder à pergunta norteadora “As condições de trabalho dos colaboradores de hospitais interferem na percepção de sua saúde e segurança?”, dentre as 530 obras (artigos, teses e outros) foram selecionados 12 artigos. Para o segundo objetivo foi realizado uma pesquisa aplicada, de cunho observacional, quantitativo, transversal e descritivo, em um hospital de médio porte, do sudeste goiano. Utilizou-se para a coleta dos dados o instrumento Inventário de Clima Organizacional de Segurança. A coleta ocorreu no primeiro semestre de 2016. Teve-se como resultados, para a primeira etapa, que as condições de trabalho são responsáveis pelo desgaste dos profissionais. A realidade encontrada nos estudos quanto a condição de trabalho precária, traz repercussões negativas a saúde e segurança do trabalhador, proporcionando adoecimento físico e mental. Permitindo ao trabalhador e às instituições de saúde identificar os problemas e propor mudanças no processo de trabalho, influenciando, assim, na promoção da saúde e na prevenção de doenças. Em relação ao olhar dos trabalhadores, os resultados apontaram para percepções dialéticas, alguns estudos encontraram que as condições de trabalho desfavoráveis, frequentemente, se tornam rotinas e não são percebidas pelos trabalhadores, inclusive gestores. E outros encontraram que os trabalhadores percebem essas condições, no tocante as consequências em sua saúde. Nos resultados da segunda etapa da pesquisa, participaram 118 colaboradores, com média de vínculo com o hospital de 2,93 anos. Predominantemente do gênero feminino e com idade média de 35 anos. Foi identificado média geral de 2,92 horas de treinamento de segurança. Com relação as dimensões do ICOS, a equipe de enfermagem apresentou um escore satisfatório nos itens Clima de Segurança, Segurança como valor organizacional e Envolvimento Pessoal com Segurança, enquanto que, nessas mesmas dimensões, a equipe de apoio se caracterizou como indiferente. Na dimensão Práticas Organizacionais a Equipe de Enfermagem mostrou-se indiferente enquanto que a Equipe de Apoio se apresentou insatisfeito. Evidenciou-se, portanto, diferença de envolvimento entre as equipes na percepção da cultura de saúde e segurança no trabalho. | eng |
