| dc.description.abstract | Human behavior, driven by the capitalist system and its consumerist logic, generated the need to take urgent measures to address serious environmental problems. Among these measures are Environmental Education (EA), which emerged as a way to alert people about the environmental impacts caused by human activities. Given the above, this dissertation has as main objective to analyze the role of EA from the implementation of the Common National Curricular Base (BNCC), having as reference the teaching of Geography in Elementary School II of the Municipal Education Network of Uberlândia (MG). In this sense, the present study is a bibliographic document, carried out using the document analysis script instrument. The bibliographic research took place from authors of books, articles, dissertations and theses that deal with the origin of environmental issues and EA through the teaching of Geography, as well as the discussions and measures taken by the International Conferences on the Environment promoted by the United Nations (UN). The documentary research addressed educational legislation prior to the BNCC, such as the Law of National Education Guidelines and Bases (LDB 9.394 / 1996), the National Curricular Guidelines (DCNs) and the National Curriculum Parameters (PCNs), which considered the importance of EA for the teaching and learning process; in addition to the analysis of the Uberlândia Municipal Education Plan (PME) and the Minas Gerais Reference Curriculum (CRMG). The final discussions detach how EA is being addressed in the Reference Action Plan of the Municipal Education Network of Uberlândia, a document built between 2018 and 2019, which will enable the implementation of BNCC and CRMG in the curriculum of the Municipal Education Network of Uberlândia a from 2020. In this context, the importance of EE for changing habits and attitudes of the whole society is emphasized, with the school being its main disseminator for the formation of critical and reflective subjects in the face of serious environmental problems. | eng |
| dc.description.resumo | O comportamento humano, impulsionado pelo sistema capitalista e sua lógica consumista, gerou a necessidade de tomada de medidas urgentes para tratar dos graves problemas ambientais. Entre essas medidas estão a Educação Ambiental (EA), que surgiu como forma de alertar as pessoas sobre os impactos ambientais causados pelas atividades humanas. Diante do exposto, a presente dissertação tem como objetivo principal analisar o papel da EA a partir da implantação da Base Nacional Comum Curricular (BNCC), tendo como referência o ensino de Geografia no Ensino Fundamental II da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Uberlândia (MG). Nesse sentido, o presente estudo é documental bibliográfico, realizado por meio do instrumento de roteiro de análise documental. A pesquisa bibliográfica se deu a partir de autores de livros, artigos, dissertações e teses que tratam da origem das questões ambientais e da EA por meio do ensino de Geografia, bem como das discussões e medidas tomadas pelas Conferências Internacionais sobre o Meio Ambiente promovidas pela Organização das Nações Unidas (ONU). A pesquisa documental abordou as legislações educacionais anteriores à BNCC, como a Lei de Diretrizes e Bases da Educação Nacional (LDB 9.394/1996), as Diretrizes Curriculares Nacionais (DCNs) e os Parâmetros Curriculares Nacionais (PCNs), que consideravam a importância da EA para o processo de ensino e aprendizagem; além da análise do Plano Municipal de Educação de Uberlândia (PME) e do Currículo Referência de Minas Gerais (CRMG). As discussões finais destacam como a EA está sendo tratada no Plano de Ação Referência da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Uberlândia, documento construído entre 2018 e 2019, e que viabilizará a implantação da BNCC e o CRMG no currículo da Rede Municipal de Ensino de Uberlândia a partir de 2020. Nesse contexto, ressalta-se a importância da EA para a mudança de hábitos e posturas de toda a sociedade, sendo a escola sua principal disseminadora para formação de sujeitos críticos e reflexivos diante dos graves problemas ambientais. | pt_BR |
