Abstract
In the dynamic and complex scenario that organizations are immersed in, a great challenge is to have a new way of managing organizational learning, enabling an improvement of business education in the field of activity, it is also essential to investigate the values and practices related to the company's culture, and verify if it influence in the learning processes. The objective of this is to verify if organization culture influences the learning process. The search was carried out in a company in the mining and fertilizers sector. The nature of the study is descriptive and the research is cross. A case study was carried out with a mixed approach, through the use of a quantitative method, with the application of the instruments IBACO (Brazilian Instrument for Organizational Culture) and QCAO (Assessment of Learning Culture in the Organization) to leaders and other employees of the selected sector. The data were processed using the SPSS statistical software, version 26. The qualitative method was carried out through structured interviews with leaders of the selected sector and of the Human Resources area. The research has 47 participants, in the studied sector. The research result shows that organizational culture influences the company's learning processes. The organizational culture factors that presented the highest averages were external integration, whose focus is on the customer; cooperative professionalism, where professionals support each other to achieve results; and a leadership that is not centralized, but that is open to dialogue. According to the results of IBACO, it is recommended that the company focus on promoting interpersonal relationships among professionals. The QCAO factor that presented the highest result was the strategic use of learning by leadership, in which leaders value and share learning. It was observed that several elements of organization culture drive learning, such as: a good environment; the collaboration and partnership that exists among professionals; a non-centrelized lidershio; the learning mechanisms, such as policies, integrations and regular meetings; the rewards for innovations; and the benefits.
