This paper has as a thematic, the formation of former students and course of the advisor professors of History at Universidade Federal de Goiás, Regional Catalão from 1991 to 2004. The main question was: How did the process of formation of advisor professor and former students of the History course at UFG Regional Catalão? The time frame from 1991 to 2004 is due to the fact that he was the first formation course structure, with a time of consolidation and growth of it. The objective was to analyze the process of former students and professors of training of the History course in 1991 to 2004. Therefore, theoretical reflections were used by authors such as Nóvoa, Bragança, Pineau. Data collection was performed through semi-structured interviews conducted at UFG Catalão between January and April 2014. Besides the interviews, students discharged were requested to write a narrative about their training. We used therefore as methodological strategy the life stories. The reached results tell us that the essential subject formation occurs over a lifetime. College degrees is an important part of schooling process, and connects with their life experiences, experienced in the family, with friends, in the elementary school and the high school.
