Abstract

The research is based on questions about the teaching professional trajectory, such as: What aspects of the teaching career trajectory influenced the illness and consequent diagnosis of Burnout Syndrome? Are there impacts of inclusion policies to increase conditions of stress, suffering and professional exhaustion? In this perspective, the objective was defined to understand, through the narratives, which are the main experiences, aspects and conditions of the professional trajectory of teachers, especially those linked to the school inclusion policies, which contributed to the installation of Burnout Syndrome. Therefore, we resorted to authors who investigated the Burnout Syndrome and teacher malaise to debate the relationships of teachers who, through their social relationships, and through language, constitute and develop as subjects. The methodological option is qualitative in nature where we choose to carry out semi-structured interviews via the Google Meet platform as a data collection instrument. To this end, we asked the municipal education department, in a municipality in the east of the state of Goiás, Brazil, for teachers who had a diagnosis of Burnout, exhaustion or emotional exhaustion and to work in the classroom, in some cases with students with disabilities. All five appointed professors united these characteristics and became part of the research, one man and four women, both working in different units in the public school system. As a procedure for analyzing the collected data, we resorted to the meaning cores, at the end, the results indicate that the appearance of Burnout designates very specific manifestations and modes, this, due to the singularities and personalities present in the family organization, in the work environment, as well as of sociocultural variants. The difficulty in diagnosing Burnout is also evidenced, as it affects and affects the quality of education as a whole. Finally, the context experienced during the Coronavirus pandemic affects the well-being and maintenance of a pleasant and healthy educational environment for teaching activities.
