Abstract
Landscapes have undergone changes since the insertion of man on the earth's surface. As the years made possible the advancement of knowledge, once still raw, it modernized, as did the different social organizations that manage to imprint their transformative mark on the environment through the implementation of technification. In this complex process of human occupation, today called anthropization, biomes and their phytophysiognomies are suppressed to receive the transformations developed by modern human society, as natural ecosystems are not 'suitable' for these needs. As the Cerrado biome is the scene of degrading transformations by anthropization, driven by government policies of clearing that spread across the interior of Brazil, whose reflections can be seen in the landscapes of Central Brazil, the territory where the municipality of Ouvidor, in Southeast Goiás, was formed. In this space-temporal context, there is the Córrego Lagoa Hydrographic Basin, whose research aims at the historical understanding of anthropization and socio-environmental consequences that occurred in the period from 2000 to 2020, analyzing qualitatively and quantitatively the changes in the landscape of this place through the tools of Geoprocessing, resulting in the production of Land Use Charts. The preparation of the maps of use, in the mentioned time interval, considering the rainy and dry periods, was of great apparatus for the detailed understanding of the anthropic dynamics and the vegetation cover, pointing out that there were almost no positive changes in the landscapes present in this area, there is no increase in the advance of the Primary Vegetation Class on the areas under anthropization processes due to the different uses, with emphasis on agribusiness, mining and urbanization activities that have affected the water dynamics in the Córrego Lagoa Basin, mainly with regard to decrease in water volume and chemical contamination of water by substances arising from these practices, causing direct consequences on the human population that makes use of these water resources, considering that the Córrego Lagoa Hydrographic Basin is responsible for the public supply of water to the city of Ouvidor (GO), demanding responsible planning for land use urg entity with a view to its conservation.
