A tecnologia digital como instrumento pedagógico: o ensino de História e seus desafios no CEPI Matilde Margon Vaz de Catalão-GO

Abstract

Currently, the educaƟonal scenario has undergone transformaƟons, especially regarding the tools applied in pedagogical pracƟce. Digital Technologies play a crucial role in changes in the school environment. A lot of teachers use digital technologies to innovate teaching and learning approaches and to keep up to date with the reality of students immersed in the digital age and their devices. However, digital communicaƟon and informaƟon technologies have both posiƟve and negaƟve impacts in the school context. There are educaƟon professionals who incorporate these innovaƟons without reservaƟon and resistance, and others who face significant challenges when dealing with the imposed transformaƟons. In this context, the present study, of a qualitaƟve nature, based on bibliographical research, documentary analysis and observaƟon of the school space, aims to idenƟfy and understand the ambivalences provided by Digital Technologies in CEPI MaƟlde Margon Vaz, from Catalão (GO), especially in relaƟon to History Teaching. The main objecƟve was to idenƟfy the challenges and difficulƟes that plagued teachers and students when using digital technologies in the teaching-learning process. It concluded that, although Digital Technologies offer many benefits to improve the teaching and learning process, there are challenges in beƩer adapƟng and improving their use in the classroom. ReflecƟons on the subject help educaƟon professionals to understand more precisely the ability of technologies to influence everyday school life.
