Abstract

This work aims to present monograph research with theoretical foundation on decision-making and elections, observing the studies of the most relevant authors in the academic world. For this, the requirements of theoretical presentation of elements such as approach, observation and intervention in human behavior were observed, considering the phenomenon of electoral campaign, with an analysis carried out in a dynamic and adaptable way to changes, in order to take advantage of the data available for to best identify the psychological processes and environmental factors relevant to certain outcomes. As for the result, it was observed that the productions on the subject have been evolving within technical and practical fields with the validation of several theses, for example, the interaction between the cognitive process, the behavior of the being and its environment, or as information, the positioning and processing mechanisms act in order to organize the world and enable responses in temporal cycles, with feedback from the individual processing system and positioning adjustment, always seeking some objective and endowed with several flaws and biases. Thus, the possibility and relevance of the research to be carried out through the analysis of secondary data generated in the work of Nicolau (2020) is evident, in an interpretation in the light of the theoretical model developed by Cass Sunstein (2010).
