Resumo

This paper presents a qualitative approach research which seeks to investigate the contributions of computer use in education, especially in mathematics classes. In particular the concepts of equations, percentage and rst-degree functions be discussed, and we also give special attention to information processing. In this perspective, our main goal is to answer the following question: Can the digital inclusion through the use of technological innovations in school motivate students in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics concepts? In order to investigate the contribution of digital inclusion and the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) to optimize the teaching-learning process and the developmet of students as citizens, we worked the Mathematics contents using ICT. These concepts were worked by the use of free software, word processors, spreadsheets and internet searches. The activities developed in the teaching-learning process were based on instructionist and constructionist features. Throughout this process we used questionnaires, photos and lming, which were analyzed from a qualitative approach.
