Os trabalhadores em educação e o pacto pela educação em Goiás: sintomas de uma política educacional neoliberal na cidade de Catalão (2011-2018)

Abstract

This work arises from the need to understand the impacts, the context and the advance policy’s neoliberal in Goiás, specifically in Catalão city. Starting from the context of 2011, the year of inauguration of Governor Marconi Perillo with the terms of officefrom 2011 to 2014, the elements that constituted his educational policy was investigate. The so-called Pact for Education in Goiás appeared as the agenda of his government in the wake of processes that were becoming popular in Brazil from the resumption of a political project that integrates and interconnects with international organizations and the policies of the educationalsystem at the federal level. Based on the analysis of the Pact proposal, this text analyzes the fundamental elements called Pillars, as well as the strategies proposed by this document with aview to “valuing” the education professional. Therefore, this text has as main aim to analyze the points that discuss the possible valorization of professionals linked to the Secretary of Education of Goiás. In addition to this documental analysis, questionnaires proposed to show how this policy joined in Catalão, marking or not the trajectory of education professionals in the region.
