Resumo
This dissertation presents a study on the changes in the world of teaching in the XXI
century. Thereby, it was a snip of analysis regarding the continuing education of
teachers. The central aim of the understanding that training appears as a time of
relaxation of labor relations professor. The State's role in this context, as well as their
actions and interventions in order to train the workers to the needs of capital are part of
this discussion. To elucidate the proposed debate, this dissertation was conducted with
students of continuing education, level specialization, in Gender and Diversity in School
- (GDS) - Federal University of Goias. The research is supported by authors engaged in
the study of this subject and some elements of the research field, combining an
understanding of the existing setback of the need of continuing education produced as
part of the process of improving education, but at the same time, as a process that makes
it even more difficult spacetime of everyday life of workers teachers in the current
society, where new themes and new technologies invade the space of the school, with
new requirements for the teacher.
