O (não) lugar do licenciado em psicologia: análise em Catalão e sua microrregião geográfica à luz da teoria histórico- cultural

Abstract

This research linked to the line of research Educational Practices, Teacher Training and Inclusion, of the Postgraduate Program in Education of the Faculty of Education of the Federal University of Catalão (PPGEDUC-UFCAT), aimed to map the professional performance of psychology graduates in the microregion of Catalão-GO. The research brings together bibliographical and field research, through the study of theoretical references, in addition to the bibliographical review, and included semi-structured interviews with professionals graduated in Psychology in the city of Catalão-GO. The way of interpreting and analyzing the interviews took place through the Meaning Nuclei, a methodology that seeks to understand the subject in their historical process. The theoretical basis studied in this research is based on the assumptions of Karl Marx's historical-dialectic materialist method, and historical-cultural Psychology. We seek to bring to light the social being and the social event. The results indicate that the performance of Psychology teachers exists even in contradiction of itself. The (non)place investigated takes on possible contours within the job market. The condition for the graduate to act comes through loopholes while there is no protagonism policy for degrees in Psychology. Thus, we see teacher training courses in Psychology being gradually reduced and secondary, generating problems regarding performance.
