Abstract
In this academic production, we report the development and application of a pedagogical sequence on the thematic axis of electromagnetism, more specifically electrical power and electrical energy consumption, based on Gérard Vergnaud's theory of conceptual fields, which postulates that concepts are interconnected in cognitive structures called conceptual fields, in which objects, relationships and actions have common characteristics. According to Vergnaud, learning occurs when students construct and reorganize their conceptual fields, establishing connections between concepts and their previous experiences. To this end, we built a pedagogical sequence, which in addition to the traditional approach of knowledge objects on the board, uses an electronic spreadsheet as a computational tool in which students can apply and reflect the information acquired in the classroom and establish new connections, building so you know. It was observed that students were more interested in using the educational product while carrying out the activities, noting that it contributed to learning, representing an important tool for studying the topic of electrodynamics.
