Resumo
In this work we present more interesting examples of 1st degree equations, a simpler explanation of something originally presented in a complex way, in order to be understood in an easier and more natural way, that is, a language that is as close as possible to the interlocutor will be used. The objective of this dissertation is to present a playful proposal that helps the teaching of Equations from 1st degree to Elementary School, aiming to collaborate with the approaches proposed in textbooks. We expect to promote a richer and more motivating experience, capable of providing the student with learning moments in the most natural way possible, in which the student can acquire algebraic and mathematical knowledge with the help of the game. To achieve these objectives, bibliographic research was used as a methodology, based on the reading and analysis of some textbooks, articles, dissertations, theses and other research related to elementary school equations, teaching games and mathematical games. These materials allowed a better understanding of the 1st degree equations in textbooks and, with this, it was possible to propose a method that can collaborate with such approaches, guided by four games that work on specific aspects of teaching 1st degree equations. In this work, the game entitled “Algebraic Trail” will be proposed, which can be used by the teacher in different stages and approaches to teaching equations in the 1st degree. The proposed game helps the development of reasoning, introduction of the variable and resolution of the 1st degree equation. Furthermore, it facilitates the understanding, more naturally, regarding the use of the unknown/variable. Finally, a didactic sequence was proposed that will serve as support material for teachers interested in making use of the proposed material, which complements and collaborates with the approaches proposed in several textbooks.
