Uso da literatura como fonte para o ensino de História em sala de aula: um diálogo com a obra Tropas e Boiadas de Hugo de Carvalho Ramos

Abstract

This research is the result of a detailed analysis referring to the work Tropas e Boiadas by Hugo de Carvalho Ramos, inserted in a context with regionalist characteristics, in front of a scenario permeated by socio-historical-cultural aspects in the late 19th century and early 20th century Goiás. popular imagination, as well as traditions involving the rural world, among others. The work also emphasizes the harsh reality of the tropeiros in Goiás, they had an exhausting life in the face of the bad weather they faced during the trips, such as: storms, floods, quagmires, river crossings, drowning animals, sunny days, cloud of dust on the roads, passing through very narrow mountains, often falling into abysses, animal attacks, among others. These trips were carried out on the back of animals to distant places, which could last for months, but it was along these routes that they established the landings so that they could rest, feed the mules, change mounts and prepare their food. Therefore, this study aims to specify the contribution of the tropeiros not only referring to the society and economy of Goiás, but above all in relation to their contribution to the cultural process of the state, as well as to carry out a theoretical-methodological reflection in relation to the practice of teaching of History in the public schools of Goiás.
