Resumo

The objective of this work is to understand how a proposal of continuous training, through the development of creative activities with the teacher of the fifth year of elementary school, can reflect in the learning process of the students and for this purpose aims to investigate ways of contributing to the work of the teacher , to plan the creation of mathematical teaching strategies, based on the reality that is being experienced, develop activities directed to the students and replanning strategies that do not give satisfactory results. In order to fulfill these objectives, the following question is sought: What benefits can an ongoing training offer offered to fifth year primary school teachers with creative activities be brought to student learning? An experimental and applied research was then carried out with three fifth grade teachers and their students in two schools in the city of Águas Lindas de Goiás, in the surroundings of Brasília-DF, a municipal public school and a private school. The activities were dynamic as games, games and competitions, always followed by written tests in the form of problems that were carried out in the shift and the schedules and moments of reinforcement were in the back shift of their classes. The approaches were quantitative and qualitative through the collection of data through the application of written tests, questionnaires and interviews. In view of this, it was possible to perceive improvement in the construction of knowledge in general, in the development of skills and abilities, values and attitudes, as well as significant growth in the level of students, when the teacher participated in the whole process and that growth was unsatisfactory, when the participation was partial or when there was no participation of the teacher, which imposes the perception that a permanent formation with the teacher of the fifth year can benefit the learning of its students. The research confirmed the relevance of the proposal of this work and validated the recommendation of its disclosure for a possible larger scale application.
