This research work presents a proposal for the use of software and intends to evaluate the use of technology resources as teaching tools can significantly contribute to the teaching and learning of plane geometry content. For this, we used the computer lab of a municipal school in the city of Caldas Novas, where we was used the Geogebra software on the teaching contents of plane geometry. This software allows the construction of geometric figures and the moving of all elements of these figures by changing its format and measures of dynamic form. Thus, the user can understand the relationship between the elements of these figures and see properties, facilitating the assimilation of concepts and definitions pertaining to these geometric figures. The objective was that the students would be able to understand these properties interactively, by manipulating the software and then, in the classroom, know the definitions and formal demos. The development of this work was motivated, initially by need to use technological resources of the school that were not before used didactically by teachers. Another objective was to present a methodology that addresses the expectations of students for a different classes and consequently offer the teacher a didactic option to develop day by day. So with the development of this study it was possible to see an increase in the level of student motivation, with the use of computer used in classes of math, contributing significantly to the learning content and the relationship of students with the discipline and with the teacher. In accordance with the activities given We sought to evaluate analyzing the results through careful observation of the figures constructed by students, analyzing the correction of exercises, which sought to verify of the geometric and conceptual vision of the plane geometry, comparing the performance of the current class with the performance of the class last year, that worked the content in the traditional way. Comparing diagnostic questionnaire, initially applied, with the final questionnaire and evaluating all the activities, with regard the use of Geogebra as a tool to introduce the conceptual notions and properties of flat geometry studied, it can be concluded that the use of the software brought satisfactory results, because the strong motivation provide
