Abstract
The maintenance activity within organizational processes has evolved over the years, and its current interests point to great relevance in this perspective of process improvement. Therefore, this research has the general objective of developing a generic decision model for the integration of sustainability KPIs, complementing the existing maintenance indicators, with the help of managerial aspects and technologies related to Industry 4.0. Therefore, the bibliography on these topics was analyzed, looking for points of improvement, using the trend analysis software through the CiteSpace® co-citation criterion, and the Methodi Ordination's publication selection methodology, to find relevant works. Among the main results obtained, it was possible to identify the main works that discuss Maintenance KPIs and Sustainability KPIs. After that and through the analyzes carried out, the main KPIs used were mapped and the main tools of Industry 4.0 used for the application of these indicators were known. The model indicated the accomplishment of three fundamental steps in the maintenance process: definition of the maintenance strategy, performance of the processes and analysis of the results of the maintenance activity. The maintenance strategy stage highlights the alignment of assets from an organizational perspective and the assignment of goals. Process performance considers the monitoring of maintenance activities, using resources such as incident control (MTTR and MTBF) and machine productivity management (OEE), using resources provided by Industry 4.0, such as sensors that allow the integration of systems. And the maintenance results point out the performance of the assets and the impacts generated, considering the cost generated from the maintenance activity, the life cycle cost of the facilities and the life cycle assessment. Therefore, this research allowed us to answer the research question presented through the creation of a decision model, divided into three stages, using the tools of Industry 4.0 and the guidelines presented in the ABNT NBR ISO 55000:2014 series on management of active.
