Na trilha da investigação: uma análise da narrativa policial de Flávio Carneiro

Abstract

The detective novel is characterized by reporting aspects of human reality, that is reflecting on man’s violence and crime in society. It is a rich literay branch because it approaches social and cultural themes such as violence, crime, power relations. Corruption, drugs, bribery. Kidnapping and many other elements presente in our society. This work is justified by the fact that we bilieve that detective fiction Works to contribute so that such relevant themes do not go unnoticed in the eyes of humanity. Bisides, it is a literary field that has a certain scarcity of studies and research. It is in this sense that our research seeks to analyze the detective novel by Flávio Carneiro The Stolen Book, initially published in 2013, as a genre of police suspense in order to evaluate the characteristics that make up the traditional novel. And, from this analysis, we demonstrate that the detective novel has great relevance for contributing not only to the formation of the reader but also to propose relevant reflections on issues relevant to our society. Therefore, this dissertation proposes the hypothesis that the detective is the one responsible for solving the crime and all the mysteries involved in the novel? Specifically, it aims to investigate hte characteristics of the traditional detective novel in order to analyuze the presence of the detective in detective fiction.
