Construção em taipa: simulação do desempenho térmico em diferentes zonas bioclimáticas a partir da caracterização experimental

Abstract

The efficient use of electrical energy not only means reducing costs, but also reducing environmental impacts. Furthermore, energy efficiency is often linked to improving the quality of the environment used. Aiming to cultivate the use of more sustainable alternatives, the work proposed the analysis of soil-cement rammed earth as an envelope for single-family homes, in the eight Brazilian bioclimatic zones, in order to verify its energy efficiency in comparison with the masonry envelope. Consequently, the study raises questions about better temperatures within the internal environment, verifying which material can heat higher or lower temperatures and whether rammed earth has the same thermal characteristics in different bioclimatic zones.
