In order to achieve this purpose, it was the following specific objectives set: perform bibliometric analysis of national literature on the subject; describe and analyze the process of Performance Assessment of Administrative Technical Education held at the Federal University of Goiás; and compare the influence of personal characteristics and / or professionals in the perception of the servers on the current performance evaluation process used. This work it is a case study of exploratory and descriptive nature, for it admitted him in the theory: performance evaluation, management, administration and the public sector. The survey was conducted with 100 employees of Federal University of Goiás, through a questionnaire composed of 46 questions that was used the Likert scale of 1 to 5, considering: 1 = strongly disagree, 2 = disagree, 3 = neither agree nor disagree, 4 = agree, 5 = strongly agree. The data obtained from the use of the questionnaires were tabulated with the help of spreadsheet in order to identify possible personal differences and professionals who influence the perception of respondents on the performance evaluation. That said, comparisons were made between different sample sizes taking into account the length of time in office. Next, we calculate the standard deviation of each sample, further, we use the standard error of the difference formula, in which the relative influence of each standard deviation can be considered in terms of their sample size. When performing comparisons taking into account the length of time in office, we obtained negative values for the analyzed components, therefore, conclude that the results do not support the view that the time in office influence the perception of servers screened for performance evaluation used in the institution. Finally, we present some recommendations that may contribute to the development of studies involving performance evaluation in order to obtain better results in the context of IFES.
