Item Nas trilhas dos manuscritos: estudo lexical sobre a escravidão negra em Catalão-GO (1861-1887)(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-03-31) Almeida, Mayara Aparecida Ribeiro de; Paula, Maria Helena de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6122217498972532; Paula, Maria Helena de; Almeida, Manoel Mourivaldo Santiago; Xavier, Vanessa Regina DuarteThis study entitled “In the trails of manuscripts: lexical study about black slavery in Catalão-GO (1861-1887)” has the aim to analyze the lexias present in notary documents of the nineteenth century from Catalão-GO, which refer to slavery and/or allow us to know underneath what configuration it occurred. We followed the assumption that the lexicon is the language level with more contact point with the extralinguistic reality, and for this reason enable us to access the history and culture of a people. With regard to the black slavery occurred in Brazil, we also believe that deal with primary and secondary sources is indispensable, because they facilitate a reliable study of historical and linguistically facts from past generations. Thus, based on Philology and Lexicology, we pursued these steps: first, we selected sixty-four manuscript documents of different types and regarding to slaves, specifically: sale, freedom, mortgage, sale of parts, donation and exchange. In a row, based on “Normas para Transcrição de Documentos Manuscritos para a História do Português do Brasil”, by Megale and Toledo Neto (2005), we edit semidiplomatically and in justalinear arrangement all documents. We carried out, after that, an inventory with all lexias related to slavery, by observing the contexts of use and when they were not enough to clarify the meaning, we resorted to the dictionaries by Moraes Silva (1813), Houaiss and Villar (2009) and Bluteau (1712-1728), among others. Then, we organized and analyzed this lexias based on the theory of lexical fields, founded on theoretical suppositions by Geckeler (1976), Coseriu (1977), Biderman (1987), Lopes and Rio Torto (2007) and Vilela (1979), whereby we identified three macro-fields: slave, lord and transactions, which were subdivided into other fields. On the slave field, we listed all lexias that deal specifically with bondservants, which are analyzed from the fields: social status, professions, marital status, affiliation and registration. The lord field, in turn, is organized in three micro-fields: profession/position, forms of slave acquisition and rights over the slave. Regarding to the transaction field we have identified five micro-fields, namely: types of transactions and involved parts, notarial functions, documents/books/notary signs, taxes and money. Thereby, the research carried out corroborated with the hypothesis that through the study of the lexicon we are given the knowledge of the history of a people. Particularly, we have been able to understand some of Catalão's history in the eighteenth century in respect to black enslavement.Item Vocalismos em narrativas orais nas trilhas do filologia Bandeirante(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2017-02-22) Silva, Maiune de Oliveira; Paula, Maria Helena de; http://lattes.cnpq.br/6122217498972532; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8615393836970411; Xavier, Vanessa Regina Duarte; Almeida, Manoel Mourivaldo Santiago; Coelho, Braz José; Timbane, Alexandre AntónioThis dissertation presents the results of the research "Vocalisms in oral narratives in the tracks of the Bandeirante Philology", which had as corpus four narratives that are part of the first CD of the Project entitled Bandeirante Philology . These refer to the older subjects of the States of Goiás, São Paulo and Minas Gerais, taking into account that the CD does not include the federative state of Mato Grosso. The general objective of this research was to verify the vowel morphophonological processes performed by these narrators, considering the linguistic and social factors. As specific objectives, we can list: a) to describe and classify the processes that occur at the vocal level; B)to verify the most and least recurrent in each State; C) to confront the data, in order to point out the convergent and divergent processes between the narratives. The hypothesis of this work is that there are remnants of the language used by the bandeirantes in the speeches of subjects over sisty years old of the federative states mentioned, with no or very low degree of formal education and with little or no access to mass culture, lean to mantain more linguistic traits of a prior speech than younger speakers. To accomplish what was proposed, the corpus was transcribed graphically to obtain the data that were later transcribed phonetically. The graphic transcript aims to enable the general consultants to understand the narratives without great difficulties. On the other hand, the phonetic transcription had as an intention to uncover peculiarities of the pronunciations of the words. A posteriori, the processes of vocalisms realized in each narrative were identified, separating them by narrators, which were sistemized by vocabulary in the Frequency and Occurrences Index. The next step consisted of the analysis of the greater or lesser productivity of the processes, according to the profile of each narrator. With the aim of basing the stages that culminated in the analysis, we use theories of Phonetics, Phonology, Morphology, Historical Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, amidst others of related disciplines, such as Mattos e Silva (2008), Faraco (2005), Alkmin 2008, 2011), Callou and Leite (2003), among others. The results showed that there is a continuum between the processes of vocalisms in the narratives of each federative state that is part of the route of the bandeirantes, which can be considered remnants of their speeches, as attested by the historiography of the language (cf. MEGALE, 2000), although there are no oral records of the language spoken by them
