The concerns arise from memories and school experiences with the discipline of Physical Education, these negative marks, which have been re-signified, which contributed to our desire to deepen in the studies of Gender, Sexuality, Body Education, in Physical School Education, more specifically with the focus on the contents and elements of body culture. Therefore, our research is characterized as a qualitative field research, with an exploratory and ethnographic character. We had as a research problem: What the pedagogical practices and the speeches of Physical Education teachers that work in classes from third to fifth year of elementary school, in municipal public schools of the city of Catalão-Goiás, reveal about the Body and Gender issues in class? As a general objective: To investigate what the pedagogical practices and the speeches of Physical Education teachers that work in classes from third to fifth year of elementary school in municipal public schools of the city of Catalão Goiás, regarding the issues of Body and Gender in class. We use the analysis in the light of critical conceptions in Education and Physical Education, as well as references of the studies of Gender, Sexuality. Our research was carried out in five schools of the municipal public network of Catalão-Goiás, materialized with the third, fourth and fifth year of elementary school, so five teachers were the participants of the research. We did a bibliographical survey about our subject in the databases of dissertations and dissertations of CAPES and BDTD and articles published in the CBCE. The methodological tools were: field diary; participant observation, in each third, fourth and fifth year of each of the participating teachers; in addition to a semi-structured interview with each one of these teachers. The practices and discourses of physical education teachers show that the classes still constitute space / time that (re) produces the structures that stabilize the bodies, reinforcing norms and standards of gender, regulating the eccentric bodies that flee the border of heteronormativity. Some traditional, instrumental techniques have been put into action as a way of maintaining a norm that watches over, punishes, controls, educates the bodies, in short, a Physical Education still hidden and pushed into the closet.
