In the first chapter we did a theoretical review of the concept of territory, power, urban planning and urban parks. In the second chapter the objective was to map the distribution of the urban parks of Catalão (GO), identifying their landscape contents and their infrastructure equipment, through field work. The third chapter aimed to understand the implementation of public policies for urban planning in Catalão (GO) proposed from 2004 to 2016, regarding the creation and maintenance of urban parks.
