Besides that, there is little production of theoretical and empirical papers which approach the evolution of federal universities organizational structures. Before this challenge, we have idealized an exploratory and qualitative research, in which we have developed a bibliographic mapping on the subject in scientific articles and a survey of secondary data in internal and external documents. This study aims at identifying the external changes and their effects on the internal restructuring of the university institution, which can be seen in statutes and regulations, comprehending change as transformation forms and functions filed by an organization and derived from external and internal pressure.
