Item Investigando a modelagem matemática no ensino de funções afins e exponenciais(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2016-09-27) Narcizo, Ricardo Nogueira Viana; Santos Júnior, Porfírio Azevedo dos; http://buscatextual.cnpq.br/buscatextual/visualizacv.do?id=K4702553J1; Santos Júnior, Porfírio Azevedo dos; Ribeiro, Márcio Roberto Rocha; Leandro, Bianka CarneiroThis study aims to investigate the mathematical modeling can contribute or collaborate with the function of learning and teaching related mainly to the exponential function. Thus, in seeking to achieve this objective studies have been done, with the bibliography some Brazilian researchers and observed that this methodology students during classes take an active approach and the teacher becomes a facilitator of learning teaching process. In pursuit of this objective we develop activities in which the students had to research, fabricate tables and graphs, and finally present and validate one or more mathematical models for situations problems proposed by the teacher, so following the steps for submitting a mathematical model according to the theoretical study. These activities were carried out in a class of 2nd year of high school at the Federal Institute of Brasilia campus Gama, where the first two were directed to be worked with similar functions and the other with exponential functions. During the application of the methodology for each activity the students discovered mathematical models which were exponential functions, content that were not of their knowledge, reaching the model for compound interest calculation.Item Modelagem por meio de funções elementares(Universidade Federal de Goiás, 2014-08-06) Soares, Carlos Alberto; Oliveira, Plínio José; http://lattes.cnpq.br/8075454624929535; Oliveira, Plínio José; Junqueira, Manoel Moraes; Santee, Donald MarkThis work aims to propose a different approach for teaching elementary functions in high school context, worrying about concepts understanding, definitions elementary functions characterizations. The didactic-pedagogic proposal presents a mathematical modeling from different regarding daily themes simulators from internet, which encourage students “to see”, hidden functions, and improve learning and teaching. In order to do math more interesting for student, it‟s necessary to experience the practical applications, simulating real nature situations and confronting results with theoretical calculations, to do sure those concepts and functions definitions have become a solid knowledge.
